In nations like Pakistan,my country,it is a moral price that what your elders decide goes regardless of how big or private the problem is that is even about their careers or maybe worse their marriages. Hey it’s not that I am exclaiming that these calls fully go screwy or something,they are quite experienced folk and have seen high and lows of life and some of the choices are really a master stroke and it is useful when the children are spoilt for selections that is can’t decide or confused but folk don’t actually face same experiences in their lives same thing that was a miracle to somebody may turn out to be a nighmare for somebody else.It worstens when they nearly force their chidren what they feel is right for them.
Another thing is inherited professions like a barber’s son would be a barber and a buisness man son’s must look after his folks buisness. I have got a proposal the oldsters should let their youngsters decide what’s good for themselves and if the fogeys have some reservations about it then they must debate it with their kids and take them in confidence over it. Thank the Lord I got to select it after a reasonable conversation with my Father who accepted my ideas very broad mindly.
